Glossary of solar terms
Among the many programs in support of the KfW SME and environmental protection, from export and import and financial cooperation include the following, which are part of a photovoltaic lexicon of particular interest.
- The ERP Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Program - a loan program for SMEs and larger companies for low-interest financing (up to 100%) of measures designed to improve the energy efficiency and environmental protection.
See information on KfW's environmental and energy efficiency program . - Commercial and professionals: A qualified, independent energy efficiency advice is supported with a grant of up to 640 €, which will not be repaid.
See energy efficiency consulting SMEs - For Individuals: A qualified consulting and construction supervision, if necessary by an energy consultant is supported by a grant of up to 2,000 €, which will not be repaid. In addition, KfW grants more than the bank loans for energy efficiency measures.
See KfW program of energy efficiency home - The KfW program supports renewable energy companies - and to a lesser extent, private individuals - with credit to stimulate the use of energy from solar, hydro, biomass, wind and geothermal energy. Under certain conditions, companies can even receive repayment assistance, or a portion of the loan amount is issued.
Funding will be provided electricity from solar, biomass, biogas, wind power, hydropower, geothermal and combined heat and power plants.

Especially honored were solutions that are architecturally innovative and energy-efficient, and regardless of cost-benefit ratios and the character of the residential environment have taken.
